A fun way to keep your kids motivated to do things they need to do and to discipline them as well instead of time out. I have a 6 and 3 year daughter. I have a jar full of marbles and two empty jars (one for each girl). As they get to eat all their food, do homework or anything good they are supposed to do, I give them one marble each time. (I let them put it themselves) If they don't behave, take marbles out.  Believe me, they don't want to see them going out as when they fill their jar, they get to choose a prize at the end.

Sometimes you may reward them for more then a marble depending what task they accomplish.

I hope this parenting tip can help other parents out there!
